KAJA ZENA STRAHL VON VALOR

Zena was the second German Shepherd we purchased and the reason we are so strict with health testing. When Zena was about a month old she was diagnosed with Demodectric Mange and placed on daily Ivermectin. After the first month we started taking her monthly to a dermatologist until she was finally cleared. It took 6 months for her to be considered healthy and the demodectric mange no longer active. Then around her first birthday one of her hips popped out of place. At just shy of 12 months we had Zena spayed. Thankfully her Demodex has stayed in remission but we battle daily with her hips. It absolutely breaks my heart that she suffered and still suffers when she is in pain. 

She is the most loving dog I have ever owned with an amazing personality and need to please. I wish she would have been able to show because she would have excelled at Dock Diving. Unfortunately due to poor breeding standards of her breeder she will always have struggles when it comes to her health.
